We strive to equip our youth for a fulfilling and successful future by encouraging an interest in the sciences and math through a variety of both innovative and proven programs.
In 2012, when job seekers nationally outnumbered jobs, 3 to 1, there were 2 jobs in the STEM areas for every available applicant.
Plants:
An organic garden at the school provides the young students hands on experience in growing their own produce. At harvest time students not only take food home to share with their families but also to local neighbors.
Animals:
Learning about a variety of different creatures comes easily when the childs’ curiosity is encouraged and supported. We have a turtle, crab, fish and butterflies.
Technology:
More and more schools, even at the elementary level, are requiring students to use technology. Our goal is to give our early education students a basic skills for using technology.
